sharing is caring

One thing I never realized is that you share EVERYTHING as a mom. literally. Like my toddler is currently napping in my bed the next room over. MY bed. But you know what? I don’t care because as long as he naps, I’m happy as a clam haha! And then right after that, I shared my ice cold drink with my 1 year old. I never realized that I’d share this much after I became a mom. Which is weird because obviously I knew I’d love my kids and want to give them the whole world, but never did I know I’d be sharing everything I ate, slept in, and wore with my child haha.

But as I was thinking about it (you know I love giving the last bite of my cookie to Graham) there’s so much more to give and share with our kids. We’ve lived more life than them. We’ve learned things along the way that they haven’t yet experienced. I’m not saying I know all and I have so much wisdom. Believe me. I don’t! I want to tell them my story of how I came to be who I am and how much their sweet souls have brought immense amounts of joy in my life! And I also want to watch them experience it all. There’s nothing like seeing your child experience something for the first time!

I’ll keep sharing my cookies and bed with you as long as you keep giving me all the kisses!!!!
